What was your inspiration for this project?
Agave Sky was the first house Fixture Studio designed for the Parade of Homes. This collaboration with J Howell Builder was extremely rewarding and fun. We were inspired to do something very different from the other homes in the Granite Falls Subdivision. Instead of the typical browns and tans, we used black and white and we worked hard to have expansive windows in all possible locations. The interior was inspired by Scandinavian modern design and kept as simple as possible.
What was your biggest challenge?
The biggest challenge was the laundry room since we were installing plumbing on an exterior wall and maximizing window space.
What are you most proud of / excited about?
I am most proud of the laundry room in this home. It is the most beautiful laundry room Fixture Studio has done to date.
